Long-time listeners of the Coast Morning Show know that Tim has called Eva “The Beav” or just plain “B” as a term of affection.
Long-time listeners (well, 6 months, anyway) of the Coast Morning Show will know that we have had a fascination with the “Dramatic Chipmunk” video that has been a staple of the morning show page (see below) since before Christmas. And for Christmas, Tim’s wife Monica got him a “Dramatic Chipmunk” t-shirt that Eva has been a little envious because that’s “their thing.” Not that Tim doesn’t have enough “things” with his real-life wife, now he has to have “things” with his work wife. Anyhoo, while shopping at the Old Navy yesterday, T. found a blue t-shirt with a picture of a big letter “B” and a cartoon beaver holding a hockey stick. Perfect! “A dramatic chipmunk and an athletic beaver.” Maybe we’ll change the name of the show.

D.J. Hazard, “just an ugly guy saving up to make himself pretty,” joined us in the Coast Studio this morning. D.J. is headlining the Comedy Connection this weekend. Please go see him. He needs the money to get another back waxing. Oh yeah, bring your mom. She might not go home with you afterward.

In the digital age, pregnant mothers are working really hard at being their most beautiful just before childbirth. It’s a moment that’ll be captured on camera and last a lifetime. So a new mom ought to look as great as she can.
Doctor Lisa Fishman says “You’re clearly going to want to get your hair blown out and get a manicure and pedicure before going into labor. Otherwise, you’re going to run out of time afterwards. Once that baby arrives, it demands all your attention.”
When the New York Post interviewed a new mother she said “My hair was the last thing on my mind. As soon as I went into labor, I couldn’t focus on my appearance. But at least when I look back at the pictures of me holding my baby, I can say -- other than how beautiful my son is -– ‘Oh, what a damn good manicure that is!’”

At least one-in-three American mothers admit to cheating on their husband. There’s a term for these women: “Stray at Home Moms”. Also in this survey 77% said they’d like to have more sex. 21% said they get drunk to make their bedroom adventures less anxiety-ridden. But 7-out-of-ten mothers, if given a choice, would much rather drop 10 pounds than get more action between the sheets.

Quote of the Day: “You know the more stories I hear about husbands and wives, the more I realize what a catch I am.”
